Ongoing Projects: funding of a library, funding of a local school bus, Youth Center, sewing club, farming and educational projects

Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteering at the local school (or in evenings) - 1 week minimun, volunteering on the farm

Restaurant: Vang Vieng Organic Farm runs a restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve unique meals from the farm produce, including mulberry pancakes with honey for breakfast and mulberry shakes.

Guesthouse: The farm also runs a guesthouse. The rooms are set back in the trees away from the river. At the time of our visit a room with outside bathroom cost 70,000 kip (about US$8.50). The rooms provided fans and mosquito nets.

Support: Visitors can support the farm and educational projects through volunteering personally, donating money directly, purchasing organic products (teas) from the farm, eating at the restaurant, staying at the guesthouse, taking a course in traditional Laos needlework, purchasing a traditional skirt - made by local women.
